Live electric duo this past Saturday with my buddy Gene on guitar. An original about needing to work a 9 to 5 job because blues music just doesn't pay. Next time I'll remember to sing the big payoff verse...oops! Audio only:

Pretty fearless playing there, harpoon! 1st position - going for that full blown IV chord by being unafraid of 2 hole inhale second bend followed by 3 hole inhale second bend in outlining the harmony - all played as solid notes.

Love the solo beginning with LONG TONE 3 hole inhale first bend - pretty solid and I notice you do play slightly with the pitch - just enough to sound cool but not so much as to destroy that note integrity.

Also, hats off for that FAT GREASY TONE and switching harps.

Yeah! Nice tone and use of the bendiness of the harmonica.

The tone is from the player as is often said on this forum, but do you mind me asking what rig you were using?

Thanks for the feedback, guys! Glad you liked it.

@harpwrench: that was one of your harps I was using on the 1st position parts...plays like a dream.

@The Iceman: you have a keen ear and pointed out a lot of the things I was intentionally doing. My New Year's resolution this year was to play fewer notes, which I managed to do on this tune.

@blingty: rig was a CM element JT30 mic into a Kinder AFB+ into a Bassman Reissue. I would have preferred to use my crystal element JT30 but was sharing my rig with a bunch of other harp players that day and didn't want to risk someone besides me breaking it. :-)
