This is not harmonica, but it is reed based. It reminds me a lot of the comb discussions and comparisons that crop up on MBH occasionally. This guy is doing comparisons with bass clarinet ligatures and I thought his summary and conclusion as the end was excellent and applies to many similar gear discussions.
HA! Loved it!! Somewhere buried in the forums archive is a demo done by one of the MBH members on different harps. He challenged the viewers to ID which was which. Nobody did well. The takeaway for me was the same as this video. I never worried about playing exclusively stock SP 20s again.
However I sound, I know switching out harps ain't gonna make it appreciably better.
