love Downchild, seen them 4 times, have also seen Chuck, and Donny both on there own too, awesome people to talk to, even better to listen to. They put out a movie, if you get a chance watch it, its very good and very funny at times.

I have this album. I heard it on pandora back when i first started playing. There pretty good.

Another band i like is the 44s. I heard them on pandora too. They do pretty much all Red Devils/13s/Lester Butler covers.

I absolutely loved Hock's voice, to me he had the singing voice for blues unmatched by anyone today. It was a pure gift, so natural. Don't get me wrong Chuck Jackson has an amazing voice too, but he's not Hock.

Interesting it must be in the "ear of the listener" so to speak.
I listened but came to a different conclusion, nice though.
