Happy Australia Day to all the Aussie contributors to this site! I was fortunate to get to live down under - in Fairlight NSW, just behind Manly Beach - from 1995-1997. A great country full of great folks. Only wish I'd made it to Tassie.

Juzzie Smith is easily the most successful busker I've seen. I met him some years back at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. While the rest of us were struggling to pull in $15/hr on Peel St, the busking strip, he seemed to be earning thousands, with a constant line at his CD desk, run by a full time sales assistant.
All the while, I was selling my usual 1 or 2 CDs per day.
Juzzie has a simple but very effective harmonica style. Since I last saw him, quite a few years back, his act has evolved. In particular, he has become highly skilled with percussion. Deceptively simple, until you try it for your yourself.
He's also become an Youtube phenomenon, with clips like the one above garnering millions of views.
Whatever Juzzie has, it's worth bottling and sharing around. ---------- Tony Eyers Australia www.HarmonicaAcademy.com everyone plays...
