My playing is not great but that has not stopped me from posting a few sound files and videos on ReverbNation and You tube. It's fun, its not horrible and I think making recordings and sharing them helps me improve. Most of the time after I post something I get the Reverbnation auto post to Facebook and I mention it here on the forum, it gets 50 to 100 views in the next few days and that is the end of it. There is one video that has an order of magnitude more views and is still getting a handful a day two years after I posted it. The playing is not spectacular and I was wondering why people are still looking at this. I did a google search in the words German and Harmonica and my video "Old German Style Harmonica?" came up on the first page. I guess people are just stumbling across this because the title has good keywords. Just shows how important keywords are in the internet era. Now, excuse me while I go rework my online resume to include more critical keywords so I can generate more interest among potential employers.

I've noticed that when I post a YT video on this forum the views will jump between 60 and 80 within a day or two.
On a related note I posted a political ad on Soundcloud to share with a small circle of family & friends. Immediately I received a 'like' from an out of country listener. ?
Now, about once a month, I receive 'like' notifications from apparent 18 year old beauties. [At least that's the implication from the profile pictures.] I think these emails are generated automatically because my ad has no appeal outside of my circle or location.
