Hey Gnarly,

I just picked up a Manji DNm and was googling the labeling before I bought it (as Lee Oskar label them in 2nd, Suzuki in 1st) and came across your post at http://rockinronsmusicsd.com/suzuki-manji-natural-minor-tuned-m-20nm.html

I suspect it's due to tuning it for Japanese minor scales which predominantly feature a 2b not a 2, such as Insen, Hirajoshi, Iwato, hon kumoi shiouzh. (though I've seen Hirajoshi specified as 2 or 2b, seems to be some difference of opinion somewhere)

Well that is great to know, and I appreciate you letting me know.
I am keeping a box of retuned natural minors in stock at the warehouse, and Ron is stocking them, but the majority of our natural minor inventory are still in the tuning which Japan sent us.
So if this tuning is to your liking (not you Paul, you know whum sane), we can accomodate your desires. Just let us know.
FYI, lots of double country Manjis in stock too, they are labeled "7", as in "D7". But they are raised draw 5 and 9 . . .
