I overdubbed the amped harp to a backing track some years back. I forget what it is like to have just a harp in my hand instead of all the instruments at once. I would someday like to a recording session with a bass, guitar, drums, keys, behind me just on harp/vocal. Walter

JustFuya: I get to missing a real band behind me sometimes and also just blowing harp held in my hands. The amped harp is attractive for a few songs but I will always choose acoustic over electric. Here is another cut with acoustic harp. The cool thing of just blowing/singing is I get to mess with phrasing way more than I can when playing all the instruments at once. Walter

JustFuya: I have met a lot of musicians here as they come in for pizza. I haven't checked out the scene here and doubt I will. I am completely at peace with recording in my studio. Connecting and explaining Spontobeat doesn't sound like fun anymore. Thanks. Walter

I would like to do a studio recording with a few musician friends who I groove with. The problem is they are at points all over the world :-) Until then I am good in my studio. Convincing people to open their minds to what I do is a drag. I use to be driven to play live and dealt with this. People have no idea of what resistance one encounters when I present how I do music to people that book gigs - no covers, no repeating of anything... Music just isn't ready for this yet and I am glad I am at peace with it. Walter
