Hi MBH'ers,

I was looking through some emails and one from Dennis Gruenling said that he is no longer playing/touring with Doug Deming. Does anyone know what happened? I thought they were exceptional together.

..... says Madison Slim will appear with DD&tJT on their Florida dates. No mention at all of Dennis. Odd.

Dennis and Doug have parted ways-it was a mutual agreement, and I am thankful for the 8 years of music they provided-I am sure we will continue to hear great music from both Dennis and Doug in the future.

I don't know if there is any connection, but Dennis did say, last Saturday, that's he's starting to sing more. I don't know...., just sayin'.:)

No-no connection.

Dennis sings all of the songs on his new CD "Ready or Not".

My wifey really likes Rock-A-Billy. I drag her to see every harp player who comes to town. The D&D show was her favorite. Mine too, but for harp reasons.

We know how these pro bands operate. He Polly had a bad night and dropped a beat or two. Then they left him on the road 100 miles from land, not before they reamed him a new asshole ??

Jinx, that sounds more like a story BBQ Bob might tell about a sloppy drummer!

I asked the original question because I thought Doug definitely benefited from Dennis's involvement, though I could see if he wound up feeling like it sort of became the Dennis Gruenling show.

I guess I can't really complain, though, because I've been enjoying the William Clarke tribute videos Dennis has been posting with the Nick Moss band.
