I just spoke with Scott Balcerek, the director, yesterday. Things are moving along beautifully. He has recently taken on, as a full partner, the only person ever to win two academy awards for documentary film scores. He's scheduled interviews with Al Sharpton, Quint Davis (NOLA Jazzfest founder), and several others. He's been picked up by a major distribution company. He's cutting the final portion of it together, working hard every day. Everybody who previews it says "This is a film that we need NOW," given the recent resurgence of Kerner Commission language--"two Americas, one white and one black," etc.
2017 is the year. This thing will be publicly shown, in its entirety, before 2017 is done.
