Great playing but a terrible mix. The vocals are buried.Another harp player that deserves more recognition. He also does a fine job on the Robert Nighthawk/Houston Stackhouse album.

mic - 1847 is on it. senheiser 421. It's been THE standard mic on sax's for many years. Used on other things too of course. The 421 II is still made and goes for around $380. It has always been about 3x what an SM58 or 57 cost. I like it mic-ing my harp amp in the studio. I've never used it as a cupped mic directly on harp and don't see why you would. On a mic stand for electrified acoustic playing yes.
