Awesome. I saw them in DC in 1980, after having been switched on to their "What's the Word" album, featuring the lineup in this clip, in particular Jimmie Vaughan on guitar. Agreed. Here's a recording he did in 1975 with his earlier band "Aces, Straights and Shuffles."
Got curious if any recordings from that era existed, as in the mind-90s I got to know the guitar player a bit (Kent DuChaine) when he'd visit Montana for trout fishing
