Awesome. I saw them in DC in 1980, after having been switched on to their "What's the Word" album, featuring the lineup in this clip, in particular Jimmie Vaughan on guitar. I just wish I'd had a better notion back then of what I was hearing.

Agreed. Here's a recording he did in 1975 with his earlier band "Aces, Straights and Shuffles."

Got curious if any recordings from that era existed, as in the mind-90s I got to know the guitar player a bit (Kent DuChaine) when he'd visit Montana for trout fishing
