I ordered a Suzuki SCX48 this past Tuesday from Rockin Ron's. Arrived yesterday. I never saw such fast quality service. But anyway, I opened the package. I was shocked (in a positive way) at the size of this! Definitely dwarfs my Blues Harp & Big River, as well as my Bluesmaster harps. I admit to being overwhelmed by its size, weight, & quantity of workmanship. A real investment. And no more ordering from EBay. Rockin Ron's is my go to for anything & everything.

The SCX48 is a 12 hole chromatic harmonica. A completely different beast from 10 hole diatonic harps like the Blues Harp, Big River and Bluesmaster. They're great chromatics but you need a different set of skills to play them. Good luck.

Yep different skills. You can even play the Piano Roll Blues on your chromatic.

I've got the 16 hole version. I've never really taken to chromatics, so I'm tuning it to bebop at the moment. If I'm still not feeling it I might try giving it a minor 3rd with the button out.

Wow, it took 2 days to get your harp. Ron must have been at S.P.A.H.
