On WCHS, channel 8, Sunday morning (6/26/2016) 9 am, The River Cities Report will feature The Huntington Harmonica Club. Tuesday morning (6/21/2916), Bobby Lee Messer asked to tape the club live at Gino’s Pub that night. I sent messages to the gang and they showed up ready to put on a show. We are looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Until then, I love this video from the same night posted by Tom Dobbins and shot by Anne Dobbins. The video is of the last (outro) song of the night. You’ll hear everyone’s name called out as well as a solo from every lead player. There’s even some showmanship thrown in.
