This is some kick-ass music. This is exactly the kind of singing and harping I'm looking for in the year 2016. When people angst about "The blues are dying," please send them this clip and say, "Ah, excuse me: no they're not."

Nice post Adam. I was actually listening to his CD today. Great player and awesome music. Reminds me of Little Sonny.

I have been a big Omar fan since he recorded in my studio after doing a tour with the Sean Carney Band in Europe. The recording has a bunch of Omar fronting the band as well as backing Sean on harp. It never made it to cd at least yet. Walter

Listening to Omar's recent live album.
Great band- covers blues grooves, funk, swing and sounds great.
Omar's singing is soulful.
Harmonica playing works for all the different styles on the cd.
Pretty good release.
Like his funk more than his blues (but then, I'm from Detroit). ---------- The Iceman
