I can say with complete confidence that Richard is in the process of upgrading and simplifying his tool kit. I know because some of it is being made by Blue Moon. Other parts are being made by a vendor I introduced Richard to. It will include new version of his combination draw scraper and burnishing tool. It will include an upgraded version of his combination reed wrench, reed plinker, tuning tool. There are a few other components that I am not involved in but of course I do make the R. Sleigh Reed Removal tool for him. We'll keep you posted and let you know when it is available. ---------- Tom Halchak www.BlueMoonHarmonicas.com

This is a bit off topic but I just ordered a reed tool kit for my son so he can adjust and perhaps make from scratch reeds for his bassoon. There is a bit of similarity in some of the tools. I am glad to see he is taking interest in his instrument enough to want to learn to customize it to suit his playing style. I expect the reed knife and scraper will also work for he sax reeds. I doubt he would loan me his scraper though, I expect brass or stainless it a bit tougher on tools than cane.
