HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE WALTER! Born May 1st 1930 he would have been 86 this year. Here is my heartfelt tribute to THE genius of the electric blues harmonica. It's called " A Walter Shade Of Blue" from my debut studio album "For Those who Need The Blues. How important was Little Walter? to paraphrase harp great James Cotton "What the Beatles were to pop music Little Walter was to the blues harp". All of us blues harpists will always owe him a huge debt of gratitude. Enjoy!

thanks for feedback Steamrollin Stan :) It's interesting, I've been getting some pretty great responses RE my band.... maybe try another track and see what you think?
Giles, Great work all around on both cuts, loved your harp - great tone - cool singing, too. And I liked your band - drummer and bass are right in the pocket, the guitar player sounds great and doesn't overplay, and everyone is contributing to making the song as good as possible. Rich
Hey thanks Rich. Really glad you enjoyed the album! I've been blessed with this band - all tracks were recorded live and in one or two takes so i take my hat off to them!
