A couple of weeks ago I contacted Peavey about my lifetime guaranteed mic cable and Hi-Z transformer with my sad tale of them failing after only 30 & 25 years, respectively, of use and my inability to locate the receipt for the original purchase. They replied “send 'em to us and we'll see what we can do” or something to that effect. So, last Saturday I very carefully coiled up my cable & transformer into the cheapest flat rate box the post office offers and today, when I got home from work, I had a package from Peavey with a brand new cable and transformer in it. Looks like I'm good for another 30 years.

It came back so fast, I forgot I was even looking for it. This was Rockin' Ron's fast. I can't recommend these guys enough. I've kind of been expecting that cable to go out for the last 15 or 20 years, just because nothing lasts that long, but then again, I've got a house full of 30 year old Peavey amps that keep on working.

Y'all want to do business with these folks. They make really good stuff.

Yep, they've done it for me too, more than once. And, btw, the Peavey Delta Blues I bought last year may be the best amp I've ever owned or used.

About 20 years ago I was given my first amp ... a Peavey Minx 110. The output jack was mangled. I called them for a replacement and was forwarded to the shop. [I don't recall why I didn't buy just any 1/4".]

The technician dug around his work area while we were still connected and he found two of them. He sent both to me gratis, saying it wasn't the best design and that it would probably happen again. After years of hooking up to others equipment I've only recently started to educate myself on the subject but I'll always have something nice to say about the Peavey people.

Peavey is the last of the great American amp companys. I have received excellent service and tech assistance from them over the years and they still build good gear!
