timeistight 1959 posts Mar 26, 2016 2:13 PM	Well, the 540 is an omnidirectional mic; the 545 is unidirectional. I assume that means that proximity effects would be different for the two mics. A friend of mine uses one, though. He seems to like it.

arnenym 383 posts Mar 27, 2016 5:52 AM	In 545, PE53 and 533SA and SB you have a mall CM-ish element. They are stronger and known as Shures best sounding stick mic element for harp.
