It is good to see Jimmy Z mentioned here. Been following this site for a while but had to join to give Jimmy props. Saw him by chance at Harvelles in LA and was blown away by his energy and performance. Looked him up after the show and saw he played with Eurithmics (crazy vibrato on missionary man solo), Tom Petty, and Etta James. Tracked him down and got together for a few lessons. He's a good dude and had some great stories. I think his band is Z Tribe. Hope to contribte more now that I signed up

Hiya Bruman-Jimmy has been mentioned on here before. I first became aware of him back in the early 90's when he was featured on the paper insert you get with a Lee Oskar harp. I've kept an ear out for him ever since and particularly like the stuff he has done with Sweden's Slidin' Slim. I am in the UK so don't hold out much hope of catching him live. He does come across as being a good guy like you mention.
