Hello, 20REEDS . I'm glad that you've found this video useful. I don't like B9 too. It tracks ok but I don't like it for two reasons:
1. Most important. For modulation effect it uses chorus or tremolo. For better simulation it would be better if it has the rotary effect ( now ehx introduced the Lester g and Lester K).
2. In some presets with harmonica it gave me the very unfriendly distortion.

I found it won't track above the highest e on the harmonica.

But the "cathedral" sound is rather convincing ...

@Wheel: When I first saw the B-9 I was excited about the possibilities, but couldn't find anywhere to test one out. Then EHX came out with the C-9 and I thought the effects were even better, but would they work out well with diatonic harps as compared to guitar? I keep seeing posts about not tracking in higher tones, so I wasn't about to drop $220 and get disappointed. I posted questions about it, but didn't get any response. Have you or anyone you know tried out the C-9?

Diggsblues, yes I think as any EHX pitch shifter.

Martin, yes "Cathedral" and "Rock organ" IMO are the best:) But they both not so good in the low register bends with low C.

Raven, I did not try. It's true for high pitched harps. It's ok with low f, g and as far as I remember A. I don't think that C-9 would be better. I think it will have the same result (octave generator I think the same as in pitchfork, but modulation is the same as in b-9 but with some adjustments). I think for organ sound the best result is: pitch fork (or any pog) + lex strymon.
