Went to Guitar Center in Delaware to buy some stuff and they let me try out the B9 pedal. I liked it and it tracked ok in a lot of the sounds. The one draw back was that it stopped tracking at the high e in the last octave and that reed on the diatonic harmonica also. This could be the deal breaker. Any other good organ pedals out there?

Diggs: I know nothing about organ pedals, but I travel to Delaware for work all the time (as in 5 of the last 6 weeks lately). Do you live in Dover?

Excellent Rotary/ Leslie speaker emulators: Strymon Lex and Hammond Leslie G Pedal. Strymon probably the better one, but harder to dial in. To truly sound like an organ with either of them you need to put an EH MicroPOG in front and a compatible delay behind. The MP tracks flawlessly (polyphonic as well as single notes, and you can't out run it). VERY convincing organ sound from this set up. You need to spend a little time and effort getting the parameters dialed in properly, but these pedals are harp friendly and also respond well to technique.

I was at the delaware guitar center last night.... lol. I live in Wilmington. They had nothing good ... as usual. They got rid of their whole harp rack. Which was weak to begin with.
I love the sound of the leslie cabinets. Beautiful sound. Would be a very cool pedal to have. ---------- "Trust Those Who Seek The Truth. Doubt Those Who Say They Have Found It."

True story: I used my pedals to take an "organ" solo during a full band gig. At the end of the set two very well dressed middle aged black ladies called me over to their table. One was a professional church organist and asked where that organ sound was coming from since she got up to look for the keyboard player and didn't see one. I explained about the pedals and her sister said "I TOLD YOU I saw him steppin' on somthin'!"

That's very cool. I want to get good enough to be able to convincingly fake other instruments. Organ, Horn, etc. I have even heard some convincing electric guitar solos on harp.
I think that's super cool. ---------- "Trust Those Who Seek The Truth. Doubt Those Who Say They Have Found It."
