So many of you have often complained about how the guitar players amp up so loud that it's hard to hear yourself play. Well, for a change the harp players outnumbered the guitars last night as Dennis Greunling and Steve Guyger played along with Lou Erlanger (Sunny Lowdown) on guitar in Chester, VT. Small venue, a pizza joint, but a great time had by all. Lou commented how quiet it was being the only guitar player! Living in upstate NY, it was a real treat to have these guys playing so close to home. There aren't many venues that cater to blues playing in rural areas...it's not like Chicago, NYC or Philly.
