Beyond the world class technique it is interesting to hear three distinct electric harp tones side by side.
Could any one provide a little analysis? Obviously different amps, mics etc. but maybe a simple breakdown of the elements you hear. Who has more compression;does one guy emphasize a certain frequency range etc.
Awesome. Wish I knew some details of gear, etc. I met Sugar Blue back in the late 90s. He was using a guitar amp of some kind and exclusively Hohner harps. I was not a harp player at the time, but I was impressed when he opened up a cabinet in his house and there were stacks of new Hohners in boxes. These days...that'd sadly be worth a fair amount. Great guy though and and it was cool as hell watching him work on stage. Again...I wasn't a harp player at the time so I was impressed...but not as much as I am today listening to what he does... ---------- www.bigroadband.com

i went to a lynerd skynerd concert once in 1974 i typed the date in the computer and someone had posted the entire set list. what was once a blurred memory was... well still a blurred memory. lol ---------- .
