You know, I am considering actually going to this, though I might want to wait until it is closer to the date.

I *need* to meet up with others to help my blues playing, and this is affordabe(ish) enough and close(ish) enough that I might be able to do it.

Bugsy: Best choice you will ever make!!! Snatch up that bed so you can be in the complete mix of things! The food alone makes up for most of the cost, and the evening fun can't be duplicated!!!

Jim: I hope Tom and Chris can give a few tips in the evening, there are a couple of their classes I would love to set in on, but they coincide with Jason's classes.

KC

Tom Cannon and Chris Sutton are both very approachable and easy to work with. I bet you can snag a few minutes here and there. Disclaimer: Chris plays for a living and is volunteering this year, so he has not committed to both jams.

Thanks Jim: I have been working on guitar techniques and I think getting a little info on the "caged system" sounds interesting. I also plan on picking "Danny Gs" brain as I have been working with my Chromatic. Hopefully my favorite in the world, blues and jazz keyboard player, Miss Barbara James will also be there to give a few tips! And you can't have a WVA. jam without the stunning $5 Red!!!

I shared your post with 5$Red (Karen Combs). She said, "please tell KC I'm looking forward to our weekend"

Tonight I'll see Barbara James for our weekly get together. I'll let know she has a fan.

And I'll tell all the guys they are chopped liver. :)

I highly recommend the HarmoniCollege event. It's one of the best and coolest events in the country. And, with Jason being the featured instructor, that's an even bigger bonus. A couple years ago when I was there, the jams on the back porch were so cool! Wish I could make it this year!
