Has anyone every played with the Peavey 6505 mini amp series before- I'm asking this because this year at the Namm show they introduced the 6505 piranha mini amp. a 20 watt amp that looks pretty sweet I do know that a lot of harp players like peavey amps from what I have heard because they have been harp friendly but I'm not sure about this particular line of amps I figured an amp like this would be perfect for busking the only other thing I have come across from the you tube videos is from fender which have introduced a new line of amps called bass breaker amps (apparently a cross between the blues junior and fender bassman)

I had a Delta Blues 210 for a time. Pretty good for harp but I really needed to do a speaker swap. When $$ got tight though, I had to let it go.
My newest amp these days in a late 70's Fender Champ. ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene

All of my Peaveys are so old that my opinion on anything made after 1990 would be meaningless, but I can get loud if the occasion arises.

I played through a 20W 1980's Peavey Studio Pro for some years. The sound was very decent, the amp was indestructible.
Don't know what the modern ones are like. ---------- Tony Eyers Australia www.HarmonicaAcademy.com everyone plays...

Seems to be aimed at high gain metal types, which wouldn't be a great fit for harp.

These Peavey Piranha 6505 are starting to turn up on Craigslist. Has anyone ever got around to playing harp through one yet? What about any of those other little lunchbox heads?
