Hello everybody,
I am a fairly infrequent poster here but a long time lurker. Anyways for many years I have been recording my own album. In addition to harmonica I also play guitar and bass. I wanted to share it with you all as I know harmonica players are always seeking new music!
This is not a blues album but much more of a rock and funk type album.
You can listen at listen.hearaj.com
Harmonica listeners guide:
Feels like such a long time - solo in the middle and accents through out
Colorado - melodies doubled with guitar through out
Step outside - cosmic solo at the end
Waiting for the snow - melodies and solo in the middle
What u Livin - jazzy solo in the middle
The unusual suspect - funky solo in the beginning and middle of song
Most other songs have harmonica in them with effects and textures but the above are the most notable!
I hope you enjoy! link below

Congrats on getting it out. Listening now. Rockin, funky, nice. I like how you use the harp judiciously different tunes, so that it always complements the song. I'm a fan of good harp on things other than Blues.
Some really nice creative playing on What U Livin. You got chops. With the fx I wasn't sure at first what instrument it was. You've got that therein/keybd sounding stuff going on earlier and it could almost be mistaken for that. What position are you doing that one in? Gonna buy that track at least. Will listen to all of it some more. Your'e pretty damn funky on bass too. - It all sounds good.

Hahaha thank you bonedog! Todah Rabah!
I'm glad you like it! Most of that song is in A minor and I play it on a C harmonica (I think they call that 4th position?) The harmonica solo is a little wonky because the chords modulate between an an a minor chord to an Ab major chord. I still just play it on a c harp and hope for the best!

Ooo ooo - Step Outside's got some great shit going on. Some Popper-esque runs when you ramp it up, but to my taste better. Buying that one too, if not the whole damn thing. I dig the Reggae / jazz amalgamation.
Do you know Ernest Ranglin? Below the Bassline. Check it out. Jamaican Reggae guitar player with jazz chops.
Listen up people, - seriously. This guy brings it, fit's the 'Modern' tag for sure too, if not exactly blues.
