Many years ago I used a Nady wireless meant for guitar. I plugged my 520 straight into it. Not the best sound in the world but it freed me to do a lot of audience interaction. Gave it up after a while when women kept wanting to steal my hat.

Been thinking about going wireless again. I currently use a Heumann custom mic with a black label CR. Would it be possible to use this mic with some sort of wireless set up or would I have to go with a different mic with different impedance?

Doesn't Mr. Heumann stock various set-ups for wireless systems that go with his microphones?

Greg made me an adapter that converts the switchcraft connector on my (non-Heumann) bullet to XLR and fixes the impedance to attach to my Samson wireless rig, and includes volume control to boot. It was custom work, he did a beautiful job. Works great.
