I started a similar thread in begginer forum. Now Im refining it to Android Apps. Anyone have any experience with any recording Apps? I would like to be able to have some good editing features. Ill mainly be using it for uploading tracks to the forum. I would also like to record some of my playing with jam tracks to keep track of progress. I would most likely use a lavolier or some sort of external mic.

There are sooo many apps out there, who knows which ones are worth the time.

Thanks

Audio Evolution is probably by far the best. It's a DAW in your pocket and afaik the only android app out there that enables you to connect a usb mic straight to android device.

DAW is just what the programs are called. Digital Audio Workstation. Music recording studio programs like Rockband, Audacity and Reaper and so on.

Dou yo have a PC, is more easy (and fund) edit audio on a pc, plus you get much much more options.

You need a usb interface and a DAW (I use Reaper)

I used this many times, works good, and the price is awesome:

16bits is HQ.

Whit this, you can start learning how to record, wich is an art in it self.

Yea , my computer has been down for some time now. Since i have a smart phone that pretty much covers what i need, i have yet to get it fixed.

I don't want to get too fancy. Because as you said Zab ... real recording is an art in itself and i have enough things to learn at the moment. 8^) .... But i would like to be able to get good quality recording and some light edit options.
Some effects might be nice aswell.
