Then perhaps I will see you at the Carlsbad marathon this morning--just kidding. In all seriousness, let me know when you are of a mind to make some noise in the streets of La Jolla, and I will join you to share some live music with passersby. Congrats on your ongoing recovery--I will bring a chair for you when we busk. PS It's 4 am so I will have to wait to listen.
Thanks , Gnarly. I did play live yesterday afternoon, with a fine neo-Celtic band of musicians called Brogue Wave at a grand reopening at a friend's store in Old Town. The played mostly traditional Irish and other folk oriented songs, and they are fine musicians, and then started an extended jam , no blues, for a finale, guitar, percussion and violin. I noticed they were playing in E, so I took out my A harp and started to jam,.I was noticed and motioned to the take the mic. I looked like an unmade bed, but it sounded right.nd the audience liked it. Great day. ---------- Ted Burke tburke4@san.rr.com
Sound like you're on a good track both with phrasing and note choices. I like it. But I wonder if a backing track is available without Coltrane's soprano sax. That would allow a clearer feel for what you're doing for the lsitener -and perhaps give you a clearer field. =========== Winslow
