I've been trying to get into David Barrett's website for a couple of days, but my security program won't let me, says it's infected with a Trojan. Has anyone else experienced this?

just because it works doesn't mean its safe.

Blowhead Maybe you should contact them and tell them your issue. Maybe their site is infected and they are unaware. Or could just be your antivirus acting up, but better safe than sorry right?

Well, I'm not registered on the website, so I can't contact them. Actually wanted to get on and check out the program. Anyway, the problem is probably my security, but maybe someone who is registered could inform them? Potentially, they are losing customers.

I've got a million of those free codes - the ones you get when you buy a new Hohner harmonica...

I go to bluesharmonica.com every day (I host two forums there and monitor others). Never a problem and my virus software (which warns me about infected sites) seems to like it fine.

By the way, when I post here, I always copy what I wrote to the clipboard in case the captcha code bites me. That way I just start over and copy the clipboard to the message window. Saves me a lot of grief.

Well, I'm not registered on the website, so I can't contact them.

i could never for the life of me figure this out.
you have a website to make money, yet people cannot contact you unless they are a member. you need to know the secret handshake, or "no soup for you" why is that?

it is next to impossible to contact him, i know because
i tried and tried and tried. i finally just gave up.

in the old days you would look someone up in the phone book, so that gave me an idea, thats what i did.
low and behold i could call, unfornately i no longer
had anything to say.

i can understand when someone does not wish to make their email public, so as not to exposed themselfs to spam. but if a potential customer can not reach you,
then it is a losing propisition all the way around.

where i come from the goal is to make it as easy as possible to have someone make an impulse buy.
look at ebay... just one mouse click away, anything your heart desires.

It seems to me that they have tightened up access to areas that used to be public. (I could be wrong as it's been a long time since I visited.) They sell lessons and give kudos and badges so I used to drop in because I was curious about the effectiveness of their teaching approach.

They also sell content which includes interviews with some well known harp players. The teasers for these are available on youtube for free.

In any case, they are not nuts enough to cut the lines of communication from non-members.

Try:
http://www.bluesharmonica.com/contact_us

BTW, if I have have a contribution to MBH I generally compose it on a notepad type application so I can save and cut/paste from it. If I do compose it in the 'Post a Message' box and it has been more than a minute since loading the thread I hit the 'Post Message' button without entering the captcha. I thus avoid entering the captcha twice.

i have tried that link... no success
i gave up in frustration. it appears i am not alone.
it is dificult to contact anyone there.

you could call on the phome, i bet that would work.

hopefully someone would get the message to him that it is extremely dificult to contact him. maybe not for everyone, but for some of us. it is something that needs to be address. just does not seem likely at this point.

Bluesharmonica.com is safe.

The only thing that the website might infect you with is a strong tongue blocking technique, monster tone, excellent timing, and an impeccable foundation in accompaniment.

Bluesharmonica.com is safe.

1.i think its a false alarm
2.Facebook, 1847, i've heard his is how we connect in 2016
3.i never have any problem contacting David via email. theres a 'contact us' link on the home page of the site...and you can make your impulse buy right there from the home page too...of course, if you cant access the home page whatcha gonna do but i think that is not actually a problem of any note.
every time you buy a new hohner harp you get a month free membership...that site has been running over 6 years... and has continued to expand..whatever David is doing, it looks to be fairly successful

I tried with a different browser and got straight in. My security program, Kapersky, which has been generally pretty good, was blocking it in IE for some reason. Anyway, problem solved!
