so i head off to the local jam on sunday, i had unloaded all my equipment at work
so i really had no intention to play, it is on my way home, and they always have food.
the first set they feature a different lead guitar player and singer each week.
man i have no clue who this guy is, but he is playing thru a solid state amp
and just killing it. i have one harp in my pocket, a C harp.

i almost never ever listen to the radio, but i have been leaving it on at nite.
i have it set to some sort of disco station, the kind of recordings i would never in a million years listen to.
so any way this cat starts playing kool and the gang. for some reason it just resonated with me.
i did sign the list, and i was first one on it, and they are strict, if you are not on the list you do not exist.
not sure why the heck i signed up, all my gear is at the shop.

man i could not contain myself, i walk up mid song, do you mind? i played thru the vocal mic.
the song is in e minor i had a c harp. i had no choice but to play my ass off.
sometimes things just come together. it is so kool... that the jams here are for the most part very
very welcoming. i am truly grateful, for all the friends i have made along the way.

get down on it.

I love this track. This is from the album they did in the 2000's if I'm not mistaken.
