As a music and fight fan it was awesome to see Ezzard Charles- only man to go 15 rounds with Rocky Marciano . Charles was supposedly a good jazz musician too ( bass)

@Goldbrick: Drove many times on Ezzard Charles drive in Cincinnati. It is located close to Music Hall, but I did not know he was a jazz musician; cool! ---------- And I Thank You !! KCz Backwoodz Bluz
Wow: Goldbrick; That's jazz with a punch! No pun intended, ahh, yes there was. I truly enjoyed that! Thanks!! ---------- And I Thank You !! KCz Backwoodz Bluz
Great pics Paul. I've been collecting as many as I can and posting them on these Pinterest pages. One for blues players, one for blues posters and ephemera.
----------by the way if i knew how to post the photos here i would have done so you really ought to check out those photos they are great!, Paul Oscher "Nothin but the Blues" official website: www.pauloscher.com official fb band page: on.fb.me/1JMV44y

Paul, unfortunately this forum software makes you use HTML coding to post pictures or videos. The owner and admin reckon it's too involved to change forum software systems at this stage so it seems we are stuck with this.
Anyway, instructions to do things like this are given on the Forum FAQ page, the link to which can be found on the "BLUES HARP FORUM" tab on the menu at the left of all Dirty South pages.
If you scroll down on the Forum FAQ page you will see the following:
"Post pictures
The html code will disapear and be replaced by a picture.
<*img src="http://www.abc.com/anyPicture.jpg"*>"
[Important note: I had to insert the star characters in between the arrow characters to show the HTML code without the system trying to place a picture. Please omit them when you use the HTML code.]
The portrait on your gallery page has this URL: "http://www.pauloscher.com/photos/60s/55-hohner-pub-photo.jpg". So you would type:
<*img src="http://www.pauloscher.com/photos/60s/55-hohner-pub-photo.jpg"*> (Note that you must include the inner quotes. Again I used the stars to show the the HTML code and prevent the picture from appearing. Omit the stars for actual use.)
Your picture will appear here like this:
The pic's on your gallery page are at screen resolution (72 dpi). You could quote pictures here at higher resolutions if you wish.
Similarly, the FAQ page gives these instructions for posting a Youtube video:
"Embedding a video
Embedding a video is the easiest. Just right from the Youtube video, below the description you'll see a little text box with some html code. Select the text and copy it in to the text box. It turns out to be quite a chunk of text but it will appear as an embedded video... (the wonders of html ;)"
[Note that these instruction omit the important first step of clicking the "Share" button below the video to reveal the HTML code that you copy and then paste into a post.]
I'll post one of my favorite Oscher videos here just like that:
Now, if you are willing to jump through those hoops you are good to go. If not, I suggest complaining to Adam and Nate, forum owner and administrator, respectively. Your words will undoubtedly hold more water than mine. 8^)
In any case, we are all honored by your participation on Dirty South and look very much forward to seeing your content embedded directly.
And, the Happiest of Holidays to you and Suzan-Lori!
Thanks,
Michelle

Paul, what you can also do is to load your photos to a free site called Photobucket and they will automatically have a link for imbedding photos to here or any other website requiring HTML code. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte
