OK, I have tech source who told me Kim Wilson plays through a Greer Brown Bomber pedal. Anybody know anything about that? Or the pedal?

Thought process: 1. Suuure, like KW needs a pedal. 2. But maybe, why not...? 3. He doesn't need one. 4. Quit, we all use something so find out what it is... 5. Googled 6. Oh, that's cool, the site say's: "Class A JFET simulation of the entire circuit of a brownface Fender Concert! 7. Oh yeah, my Concert was born Jan. of 60. 8. Happy cocky plays just like KW. 9. Delusional. 10. Ludella for some humility.

Gee littoral, it was just a question. I was told he used it when he traveled so he could dial in a particular sound regardless of the back line.

No idea if it's true but I'm prepared to believe it. When you're on tour and don't know what you're going to be given, having something to rely on isn't bad.
Of course I would have thought Wilson can say what he wants to play through!

I don't know if he does or not. I know he has used several pedals including the Xotic EP Booster (interview from bluesharmonica.com) and some of Kinder's outboard pedals.
At any rate, the Tech 21 Blonde or Joyo American Sound can emulate a Fender Brown Face amp. While I haven't A/B'ed the pedal with a Concert, I have with a Victoria Champ and PRRI. Nails them.
The premise is very similar to the Greer. ---------- Mike My Website My Harmonica Effects Blog
