I bought one of Greg's XLR Volume controls a few months ago. Finally gave it a try at practice the other night. Put it on a Shure SM58. Worked fine but the pot rotation is backward to all my bullets, took a few minutes to get used to. I could not get a good cup on the ball mic so I taped up half the ball. That warmed it up some. I was able to get the amp up louder with the 58. No not higher on the knob, actually louder. I much prefer having a VC on my mics. Hats off to Greg for helping us all...BN
