We quit our jobs, bought a house in Reno, and are opening the Smiling with Hope Pizzeria Smiling With Hope Pizza-pizza with a social cause that will train and employ people with Developmental Disabilities. We got here 8 days ago and have been nonstop getting unpacked, legal with cars, working on the pizza space. I figured it would take months to get my studio back up and running but I finished it today. Here are the first songs in it (first three songs below). I am pretty pleased with the sound considering the entire studio went up in 1 day. Walter

Thanks Danny! It is amazing living in the Sierra Mts. Very humbling to see how small our existence really is. Our new house has the perfect room for my studio and in spontobeat style I threw it all together with no plan :-) Walter

Hey Walter . . . it's good to hear things are going well on both the pizza and music fronts.
Mountains do tend to put life in perspective. I spent many years in the northern Rockies, and was hit with just how insignificant most of my plans, schemes, worries and concerns really were just about every time I walked out the front door.
It's hard to get a big head when there's an 11,000-foot peak hanging over it.

thanks guys. We feel blessed to be able to offer some meaning to people with disabilities. My head swelling days are not like they use to be in my younger days thank god :-) On a music note we can have live music in the pizzeria and my longtime drummer Katherine Stevens lives here in Reno so we will do some playing once things get in a groove. NO NUTSO CLUB OWNER TO DEAL WITH, start/stop when I want, and can book myself a gig anytime I want. Owner/operator has its perks! Walter

Thanks guys! We have been working 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, getting things cleaned up,etc. It is a good thing we are doing this while still young. Young in the heart we are :) Walter
