OT; Just posting this cos it made me chuckle a little but she is obviously a big blues fan and the CD she is discussing was also discussed on here a while back!



I like American people but sometimes some American accent's are soooo American lol. But that's just my slight obsession with certain American accents.

1896, your accent remark got me trying to place hers', because I don't really hear one like it very often. When she said, "I'm going down to L.A. today" it hit me. The accent is "mature Valley Girl". Fer Sure.

I'm not sure what a "mature valley girl" accent is but I thought she kind of sounded like Jennifer Aniston so dunno if that's a valley girl accent?. But you can't beat a thick New York accent or a broad Boston accent and mostly any deep south accent are great.
