I've never seen this footage, but it's apparently part of the documentary. 1989 means that it's from the same period archived in WORD ON THE STREET, the boom box recordings I issued a few years ago. Among other things, it shows me playing a couple of 6 ob's; I'd been overblowing for about a year and a half at that point (this was shot in March, I'm guessing, but possibly November; I first learned to overblow in September of 1987).
It also gives you a good sense of who our audience was when the camera pans towards them.
I was still developing my sound; there's a real difference between this stuff and what I did in February 1990, the first Harlem Blues session, at least to my ears.
For what it's worth, to my ears, you sound very much like The Adam Gussow in the 2nd clip that starts at around 1:55. The same hopping sense of time, especially.
