I've had several queries from European friends asking whether I'll be selling copies of Busker's Holiday, since the paperback is, for the time being, unavailable outside the USA. In fact, as I write, it's unavailable INSIDE the USA, because although the pub date was yesterday--and visible plainly on the Amazon sales page--the paperback is listed as "This title has not yet been released."
Barnes & Noble, too, has come up short.
The e-book is available almost everywhere (Amazon and iBooks, most visibly), but there's clearly a shortfall. Amazon is taking pre-orders, but that's only for US customers.
So, although I'd much rather have the thing available on Amazon so that you can buy it there and give it a chance to race up the charts, I see no choice but to personally address a real and current lack in the delivery system. I've got a big box of books at home, and lots of stamps, mailers, and customs slips.

Postage costs are insane. The price of the book is $15. Added on will be first class postage costs, which are as follows:
US: $5
Canada: $10
International: $15
There's no Media Mail outside the US, so we're stuck with those crazy outside-the-US postage rates on a 10 ounce paperback book.

My copy arrived today here in England. Got it from Book Depository through amazon uk, £7.99 including p&p. Looking forward to a good read-or is that reed!
