I have just completed my first ever amp build - a Champ clone kit from Watts Tube Audio. I think this is basically a 5F1 circuit with solid state rectification. I am planning to put it in a narrow panel style cab with a 10" speaker. Can any one give me advise as to which 10" speaker I should use.

Depends on the tone you desire. Do you like what I call Kazoo tone. Adam Gussow tone? Clean dark, Clean middy, clean bright, mud, early breakup, late breakup, no breakup. Tell us what you want. Give a Utube example maybe...BN

I put a Weber series 10 Alnico 15 watt in my Kalamazoo and I really like it. It has an aggressive sound. Sounds cool as hell coming out of that little amp!
