Hi,

I bought a Knight PA head for $50. It was stored for many years, and the seller didnt know if it works, but for the price it works just as a decoration.

I will send it to a tech guy to see if I can use it as an amp, that would be great.

Here are a few pictures:

What do you think? there is hope?

Very cool looking amp. It will most likely need some new capacitors and maybe some other bits and pieces. Other than that though, there's no reason why it shouldn't work. Unless of course a transformer is fried. Even then though they can be replaced.

I have one very similar. Mine had a record player on top which has been removed. I rewired mine to a Fender 5C5 Pro circuit. It was very close to that circuit when stock and makes 35W of power. I used larger power supply caps and .1 uF couplers. Mine lives in it's original Knight clam shell cabs with the GE 12's. The thing sounds great!. Good luck with it...BN
