I was at the 93 Borderline gig in London and I have that very same gig as a bootleg! Bunch of guys who new their stuff and played it raw and real.

finally i get a chance to open an adult beverage
and take a listen.

he sure gets a lot of mileage out an A harp...

think i'll dust off an old marine band and play along.

Although I'm a big fan of Alex Schultz and I mean I think he is one of the best modern masters especially backing harp players in the Robert Jr Lockwood way (although Robert Jr said he hated backing harp players apart from Sonny Boy...timing issues) I always thought to my ears he was a little ill-matched with Lester's raw, harder edged blues. But, hey, wadda do I know?
