Thanks for posting. Sometimes, I think that Kim Wilson does not get enough love here. I know he is acknowledged on Adam's list, and (I assume) no one would say anything but good things about his playing - tone, phrasing, etc. Still, I get the feeling that he is too "traditional or "derivative" for some. I certainly don't feel that way - first, I love the traditional stuff - it's all I really listen to all day long, or play - I really can't get enough of it. And when it is played as well as Kim does it (or Little Walter or Big Walter or ...)for me, it doesn't get any better. That doesn't mean that I expect that everyone has, or should have the same sensibilities, or that I don't feel that other approaches and forms aren't equally valid, but when it is that good you got to testify. Anyway, as I step off my soapbox, thanks for putting up a great performance by some terrific musicians.
thanks Kingley, great version of this song. All music is derivative. The only difference is good derivative or bad derivative. Kim Wilson in my opinion is the best living blues harmonica player. Everything he does is perfect, and his tone is unmatched by any harp player of any genre. In addition to that he has a killer voice and over the top stage presence. Take that Popper fans.

I agree with Pluto that Kim Wilson is the best living blues harmonica player today.
He has the best tone of anyone playing right now IMHO.
My personal Top 10 All Time list would be to take Adam's list and remove Sugar Blue and Jason Ricci and put Kim's name on it. This would actually make the list a Top "10" list, versus eleven.
Also, I have met Kim several times and he is very approachable and humble.
