Hi
Can anyone recommend me a good microphone for my laptop so I can record myself playing.

Samson Go Mic Zoom H1 or Zoom h2 Behringer (or samson) C1u
Those are usb mic, easy to use and good sound. ---------- Sorry for any misspell, english is not my first language.

Loz - there was a recent thread about this same subject. You might want to do a search and you'll find some good suggestions. If all you want to do is record audio you can use your favorite mic, as long as you can use it with a 1/4" jack with a Guitar USB Jack and Audacity, which is free and easy to use. You can buy them on Amazon for about $12.00.

most of my recording is done with a blue snowball straight into my laptop with real player that is the free default recorder.

Y have the same interface, and for the price, is great, good sound and easy to use.
