I've had a long and complicated relationship with George Stackhouse, which I won't relate here, but I've never let personal antagonism get in the way of my ability to appreciate talent. I really like this song, and I really like, a lot, what he's doing in this song. The harp starts around the 2:00 point, but it's worth letting him take his time getting there:



He's really listened to and digested Stevie's original solo. I've spent some time on it, but I never took it this far. He's inside it and he's made it his. He knows the twists and turns. This is a really nice job.

Here's George on another tune, very strong groove
I believe the name of the tune is Shame Shame Shame by Shirley Company.
Now here's a tune I always thought would be right up AG's alley.




And here is the original recorded version from his album. You can hear that George is a real original, his voice shines on this cut.
