launched a new product called the Bulletini last week over on Facebook. In case you're not on Facebook, you can check it out on his web page http://www.blowsmeaway.com/bulletini.html
I'm not supposed to make commercial announcements here so thought I'd just mention it and be done with it. But if you're not on Facebook you missed all the fun, and I'm not sure how you will ever find out about it, because places like Facebook and forums like this are the ONLY way. It was on https://www.facebook.com/BlowsMeAwayProductions ---------- *************************************************** /Greg

Yes this is interesting to me. I concluded a while ago that technically your wooden mic would do for me (size, grip, VC, element) but I'm concerned about the amateur turning up with obviously pro-equipment thing. Just my personal thing, shouldn't concern anyone else. I like this more utilitarian vibe at this stage. I have one of your XLR VCs now - does what it says one the tin (well, in the little bag). Excellent. Pro equipment without the 'look at me!' baggage.
So...
1. Does it sound roughly the same as the wooden mic?
2. How grippy is that surface vs the wooden mic?
3. What material is the shell made from?
Thanks.
BTW the rules only prohibit multiple threads on the same product so I can't see any problem with this.

Best of luck with the new product launch, Greg! One thing: Rather than this image, I'd love to see a pic of the Bulletini in hand with a cord affixed.

@MindTheGap
1) It sounds roughly the same as one of my custom wood mics with The Heumann Element. The wooden mics of course accommodate a much wider range of elements.
2) The surface is very grippy - it has texture.
3) Cast Aluminum. ---------- *************************************************** /Greg

I think it looks amazing, sort art deco meets 1950's very cool. What would it look like just as polished up silver and only draw back for me is it's small for my big hands and sausage fingers! ----------

@TetonJohn - here they are.
The operation is smooth. I don't personally care for click pots for a bunch of reasons. The sound level changes on stage. The sound level changes as the audience grows/shrinks. There is no "right" setting. You're basically just going to be at full, or off, or "knock it down a bit" - the setting is NOT critical because you have your own dynamics. And its nice to be able to easily adjust it with a pinkie. People get concerned about inadvertent adjustment but with a knob at the end of the shell like this (or my wood mics' "stealth volume control") - it just isn't an issue. That part of the mic protrudes out the rear of your grip and doesn't get bumped accidentally.

@Tony - I have LOTS of customers in Australia. Disproportionate to your relative population in the world. I don't know why - but I'm not unhappy about it! ---------- *************************************************** /Greg
