OK, I just put a C Rex in my Blues Jr. and man what a difference… immediate rich, full, nuanced response. WAY less feedback. Well NO feedback at much higher volumes. FYI

Is there a good cutting high end. Not piercing but clear? I was afraid these would be too dark. Have you tried it on stage? Thanks....BN

If it doesnt work out you can grind it, roll it and smoke it.
Cant do that with an oxford or a jensen

Cannabis Rex 12" is not nearly as dark as a Lil Buddy 10". I don't know if I can answer as to the cut to your satisfaction since I favor a darker tone, but not so dark as to be muddy. The Rex seemed pretty full range at moderate volumes. The Lil Buddy will have some cut when you push it pretty hard, but it is still darker. I have each, and have mixed and matched with different amps/heads.
