I know that there have been several threads that speak to this but I would like to add my story.....
I needed an E harp fairly quickly....so I got online and ordered one from Rockin Rons. Before I could complete the order my phone was ringing......It was Ron. He went on to tell me that he had several harps that he got in "sets" and that he had an E that he could sell me at a discounted price. This was a brand new SP 20 in the box ! I found out that he had a few more that he had around, from the same type of situation.....So I bought the E AND a spare G, to take advantage of this great deal Where else would you get this type of customer service ???

Agreed. The best customer service I've had from any store (not just a music store) was from Ron's. I needed some SP 20 reed plates they didn't have. He emailed, asked me to call him, and offered to take plates off a new SP 20 and send me those (since he hadn't received his order from Hohner).
He advertises that service on his site now, but it wasn't a policy at the time. It was just a case of a really good guy trying to get a customer what he wanted. I ended up buying three sets, and he's got my business for life.

Keep it alive guys.. Rockin' Ron's is great..
He's good for the instrument and good for the players..
Love the guy...
On top of it.. and knows the market..

He gets stuff quicker to me(in NZ) than some guys do who live 50 miles away!
I think that he is an alien who teleports his products.....

I had the good fortune to meet Ron in person while visiting family in the San Diego area awhile back. I've been a loyal customer of his for a bunch of years, and yeah, he is a heck of a nice guy, and his stockpile of harps and parts is mind-boggling. He is all about the service, that's for sure. It was my pleasure to meet him and shake his hand after talking to him on the phone for all this time...

Ron is top notch. He has always been willing to bend over backwards to help me out. If the dollar ever improves I'm placing another order.
