A big thank you to Winslow for his service to the harmonica community as Pres of SPAH. The conventions were great and the organization flourished under his leadership. It is a thankless job but he stepped up to the plate.
Unfortunately, many times guys like him are recognized only for what they are known most publicly. In this case it is his leadership.
Let me assure you, he an play, too! I had a chance to hear him and his concert at SPAH. It was great and the music was NOT I, IV, V in E. It was latin based with a lot of complex structure.
He not only nailed the performance, but he led the band well....
Good stuff all the way around..
