I was using a Shaker Vet Microphone, the signal was going through the Kinder AFB, the Tech 21 Blonde, and then to the PA system." ----------------------------
I want one of those! ---------- Sorry for any misspell, english is not my first language.
Its got a pretty good sound, cut through nicely. Ideal for some LW tunes.
Side note, don't play so much, especially when guitar is soloing. Better to have people wanting more harp, rather than giving them too much. Listen to Kim play Mojo. He plays the perfect amount. More than that and it gets too repetitive and boring.
I did enjoy the video, you got skills, good vocals.

The Tech 21 Blonde is a fantastic pedal for harp players going direct. I've used one for years, mostly with dynamic mics. ---------- Mike My Website My Harmonica Effects Blog
I've been using a Tech 21 Blonde along with my Special 6 for the last couple weeks and it is awesome. I have not yet had a chance to try it straight to PA but just as a tone booster and overdrive it sounds great. It seems more effective for getting an overdriven distortion than the Harp Break Pedal, however it is a little more work to tweak to get it sounding good. You can boost your highs mids and lows way beyond levels that you would ever actually want to use. It is EXTREMELY sensitive so start with everything at 12 o'clock and tweak from there. Literally if you move a knob barely enough to even feel the knob move you will notice a difference in the sound.
For CM/CR elements I turn the character knob way down to like 9 o'clock and the Drive knob up to between 12-1. For dynamic mics it seems the opposite is better. Turn the drive way down to 9-10 o'clock and the character goes up to 1-2 o'clock. Too much drive, or too much of character and drive simultaneously will result in feedback. The "Level" knob pretty much stays at 12, mid goes to around 2, high stays around 1 and low stays around 2. I find that with these settings I get a nice overdriven Rock and Roll boost to my amp without it sounding too muddy. Hopefully one day soon I will try it through a PA which I think will be pretty sweet also.
All in all though, this pedal rocks! ---------- -LeWin$key
