I have nothing at all to do with this auction, but being a long-time CBG guy, I'm always looking at what other folks are doing. Just saw this on Ebay this morning - a CBG with a top made from a Marine Band store display.
No idea if it plays worth a damn, and I've had hit-or-miss experiences with the company where they got the neck. But, if nothing else, it's sort of amusing.
